Lydia Rogers
MA, Art History

Lydia Rogers received her BA in Art History from neighboring Sacramento State with a concentration in modern and contemporary art.  Her undergraduate research mostly centered on the role and experience of the female artist, specifically in the mid-twentieth century.  Other interests include feminist theory, late modern and contemporary non-Western art, especially but not exclusively as a means of political activism, the use of craft as a transgenerational medium, and dress as a tool of identity.
