Allison Grenda
MA, Art History

Allison earned her B.A. summa cum laude in 2017 studying Greek and Roman antiquity. She received the Undergraduate Research Scholars Award at UCLA for her honor’s thesis “A New Neighborhood for an Old City: The Resettlement of the Athenian Agora in the Middle Byzantine Period” which was also published in UCLA’s undergraduate journal Aleph. Allison has performed archaeological fieldwork at the Roman forum of Grumentum in southern Italy and interned at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.

Allison will continue to study ancient Greek and Roman antiquity at UC Davis, focusing on urbanism, domestic architecture, archaeology and Greek settlements under Roman rule.
