Student Profile
Adam Cochran
MFA, Art Studio
California College of the Arts, B.F.A. Painting and Drawing, 2014
Adam Cochran grew up in the middle-class suburbs of Southern California, surrounded by swimming pools and endless sunny days. After working multiple odd jobs during his twenties, he returned to school and received his BFA in Painting from California College of the Arts in 2014. Upon graduation, he began working closely with the noted Bay Area painter Christopher Brown, whom he had studied under at CCA. Adam’s current work is an exploration into the oddities that he experienced growing up in suburbia and the elusive promises of The American Dream.
