Director Matilda Hofman is currently rehearsing members of the UC Davis Empyrean Ensemble for their upcoming concert celebrating professor emeritus Ross Bauer, who founded the ensemble. Scheduled for Nov. 4 in the Ann E. Pitzer Center, the program features compositions by Bauer as well as colleagues Arlene Zallman and Yinam Leef and his former student Will Cooper.
