The student staff of the Basement Gallery is currently seeking submissions for “Being: Portraiture and Poetry.” Submissions are open until Feb. 5

Submissions are open to all types of medium and poetry based on the theme of “the self.” An individual can submit up to three works for consideration. Video submissions must be under three minutes in length. Visual art must be submitted in a jpeg format. There is also the opportunity to submit for open mic slots.

The exhibition opens on Feb. 8 at 6-9 p.m. in the Art Building, Room 60. The show runs through March 8.
