Neil LaBute Discusses his free adaptation of Woyzeck
The UC Davis Theater and Dance department and Bob McGrath of Ridge Theater welcome Neil LaBute for a discussion of his free adaptation of George Buchner’s Woyzeck at the Wright Hall Main Theatre in Davis, CA. The conversation is scheduled for 5 pm, Friday, February 27th. There is a short break for audiences to grab a meal; the performance of the play, directed by Bob McGrath, follows at 8 pm.
Mr. LaBute will also be holding a talk for students on the Main Stage of Wright Hall on February 27, 1:30–3:30 pm.
Screenwriter and Director Neil LaBute is the winner of an Independent Spirit Award for screenwriting (1997, In the Company of Men). He is the author of numerous plays including Fat Pig, Reasons to be Pretty, and The Shape of Things.
