“‘Seeing Through’ – Fran O’Neill on Her Work”

Fran O’Neill received her BFA and Post Grad studies from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia; MFA from Brooklyn College and Certificate from New York Studio School. Solo exhibitions include: Life on Mars Gallery, Bushwick, NY; John Davis Gallery, NY; Perimeter Gallery, ME; New York Studio School, and Sussex College, Hastings, UK. 2015, began with a solo show for O’Neill at Life on Mars, Brooklyn, NY; and is scheduled for a solo exhibition at Simon Gallery, Morristown, NJ, later this year. Her work has been included in various group shows through out the USA and in Australia. Awards include: Joan Mitchell Foundation Fellowship, Hohenberg Travel Award and Acker Award. She currently teaches at the New York Studio School. Her work resides in private collections in the USA, Australia and UK.
