Undergraduate Composer
Opportunities
Performance Opportunities and Deadlines
Students are admitted to the composition track by submitting and passing an Entry Level Portfolio. All portfolio submissions are due each year during Spring Quarter. Second- and third-year undergraduates are strongly encouraged to make sure they have submitted and passed the Entry Portfolio.
Students must pass the Entry Portfolio requirements before submitting a Junior Portfolio; submission of Junior and Senior Portfolio materials is not allowed by students who have not been accepted into the Composition Track. No appeal process is allowed for those who fail to be admitted to the composition track with the Entry Level Portfolio. A portfolio form must be filled out and included with submissions.
