A concert review from the same newspaper: Click here. This review of describes Ostertag’s participation at the Resonate music conference, held at the Yugoslav Film Archive (4/16/15).

Professor Ostertag provides a rough translation of the last paragraph in the review:

“Step by step, this soundscape is shifting perspective. Constellations are changing, we witness the forming of the rhythm of one of life’s milestones. The music is a molasses of such thickness that you start to feel true panic. But suddenly you are drowned in polyphony worthy of some politically minded electronic Bach. Out of the blue comes an oratorio of voices and instruments of nature, a symphony of psalms lifted towards disbelief. The sound flaming up to the cataclysm of Judgment Day. But then again, a new peace is conveyed, a tranquility which brings a huge hope for everyone, make discords of the soul one more time to break the continents and heavens and finally stir up the spirits of the past like some grand bells. Very, very spiritual. We are stunned.”

An interview in Beirut’s major French language newspaper, L’Orient Le Jour: Click here to read the article (May 15, 2015).
