Design Museum Participates in BioDiversity Museum Day
Sat. Feb. 17, 12-4pm
The Design Museum and its current exhibition “It’s Bugged: Insects’ Role in Design” will be among the 13 museums or collections during the seventh annual UC Davis Biodiversity Museum Day on Saturday, Feb. 17. The event, set from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. is free and open to the public.
For BioDiversity Museum Day, the Design Museum will be open 12-4pm and entry is free.
Displays will range from ancient dinosaur bones to live praying mantises, from hawks to honeybees and from California condor specimens to carnivorous plants.
Last year’s Biodiversity Museum Day drew more than 4,000 visitors to campus.
