John Iacovelli, UC Davis professor of theatre and dance, has
designed the scenery for a new musical based on the songs of John
Denver entitled “Back Home Again.” Joining Iacovelli on this
project are theatre and dance alumni Robert Broadfoot, Sojin Han
and Brice Hilburn along with current undergraduate student David
D’Olimpio. The production runs through Jan. 21 at the Lesher Center for the Arts
in Walnut Creek.

Professor Iacovelli has designed more than 200 productions at
theaters across the nation, including the critically acclaimed,
TONY-nominated Broadway revival of Peter
Pan starring Cathy Rigby. The Academy of Television
Arts and Sciences awarded Iacovelli the coveted 2001 prime-time
Emmy Award for his art direction of the A&E broadcast of
Peter Pan. He also designed
The Twilight of The Godson
Broadway.
