Empyrean Ensemble: “Music of Pablo Ortiz”

A concert celebrating the 60th birthday of music professor and composer Pablo Ortiz will feature works dating back to the 1990s and a world premiere. The Empyrean Ensemble performs with soprano Lucy Fitz Gibbon and pianist Eric Zivian. Zivian, a San Francisco-based pianist, will perform the world premiere of Ortiz’s “Cycles.”
