Staff in the music department provide scheduling and recording services, as well as equipment as needed and able. The following guide outline will be useful in planning a concert.
For simple printed concert programs (two pages or less), we require the formatted text to be submitted at least one week prior to the concert.
All department-sponsored concerts are recorded for the university archive. Because of licensing, we cannot always make all recordings publicly available.
For use of percussion or sound equipment (microphones, vibraphone, e.g.) please submit those requests at least two weeks in advance.
All rooms must be reserved in advance, in our web-based booking system. Permission to use those rooms will be granted first to faculty instructors, then music majors, ensemble members, and those taking lessons.
