Currently, I’m an Assistant Visiting Professor of Art in Drawing at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. The school is about an hour from New Orleans and Baton Rouge, where I reside.
Continued painting & teaching. Moved to San Antonio in 2004 to accept tenure track position in painting program at University of Texas at San Antonio.

I moved to Los Angeles after graduating and have been teaching at UCLA, Loyola Marymount University, and California State University. I am currently represented by Bandini Art.
Participated in several exhibitions in California from 1998 – 2004. In 04 I started a Website Design and Online Marketing company: Go Traffic Interactive in Napa CA. Having studied Interdisciplinary Media at UCD from 1996 – 1998 gave me advanced knowledge of the Internet, which of course benefits my business.

Xavier Lopez Jr. is active in the Seattle “Alternative” art scene. He is co-owner and co-curator of the Echo Echo Gallery. In Seattle, he writes the only Alternative Art Blog for the Seattle Post Intelligencer. He is a well known muralist, performance artist, painter and had his work appear in Hi Fructose, Mad Magazine, Catapult, Dark Beauty, Vex Magazine as well as several book like Seattle Street Art and other books. He has shown work in Germany, France, New York, Seattle and Los Angeles and has not stopped working since graduation.
