Art Studio MFA candidates Mike Cole and Jodi Connelly have been selected as contributing artists in the 2017 MFA Slide Slam Now. The event is held at the Root Division Gallery in San Francisco and showcases the work of Bay Area MFA candidates and offers an opportunity for professional development in which emerging artists gain exposure and meet and interact with audiences. 

Cole, a second-year candidate, has been chosen as one of the artists who will give a five-minute presentation on March 23, while Connelly, a first-year candidate, will have her work exhibited in the gallery. The exhibition runs through March 25.
