John Iacovelli, professor of Theatre and Dance, will be moderating a panel on the work of the legendary German art director Walter Reimann on April 30 at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles.
The event includes the screening of two acclaimed films that showcase Reimann’s remarkable artistry: “Algol” (1920) and “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari” (1919). The double feature will be introduced by Stefan Dröesslar of the Munich Film Museum. The panel discussion will occur between the films. The first screening begins at 5:30 p.m.
