The UC Davis Fashion and Design Society (FADS) is currently seeking models for the Picnic Day Fashion Show.

The FADS designers in the Signature Collections program are looking for people of all genders, height and sizes to become part of a celebration of high fashion. Ideally designers are looking for people ages 15-25, although one designer is looking for young girls ages 5 to 7 for her collection. The call is open to students and community members.

“We are looking for people with a sense of confidence and commitment,” said Lisa Lo, co-president of FADS. “Models must have a sense of confidence to walk the runway showcasing the clothes, and must be committed to come in for fittings, a modeling workshop, possible photography sessions and one rehearsal. They must be available Saturday, April 22 (day of the show) from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m.”

This year’s fashion show is titled “Aspire” with shows at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. during Picnic Day on April 22.
